Rec so far this year (pushes recorded as no play)

1. Bundesliga 33 - 29 +4.021 units
2. Bundesliga 21 - 20 + 2.584 units
Regionalliga 32 - 18 +15.61 units

Total 86 - 67 +22.215 units

Friday

1. Bundesliga

Mainz- Stuttgart: STuttgart -0.5 @ 2.01

what a mismatch here. both teams heading in different directions and stuttgart is a good away team. (sometimes i wonder, why i have to lay -0.75 during the week for chelsea @ bolton and for that kind of match just -0.5, but as long as it is a winner i dont care)

Regionalliga Nord

Ahlen- Osnabrück: Osnabrück pk,-0.5 @ 1.95

Chris don't you think that perhaps books expect Mainz
to get their first win at home this season today?
The odds given here seem like some trap with this one.

I guess you placed your bet so i wish GL.

i dont see a reason for Mainz to win. ofcause it can happen, but there is no special hype or special build up to this game from the Mainz-team. so i take the great odds.

i dont believe in traps with betting football. you have to cheeck situation like upcoming euro matches, injuries, history, suspensions, but if you cannot see a reason for a trap go for it...

a split on friday with Osnabrück winning 3-0

Saturday

Regionalliga Nord:

Gladbach- Düsseldorf: Düsseldorf -0.5 @ 2.10 !! 2 units!!

Both teams headig in different directions. Düsseldorf is one of the top team in the league and are playing bottom club Gladbach. This game will be played in Gladbach's Bundesliga arena to have enough capacatiy for all the expected Düsseldorf fans, which is just 20 min away. So far for a home advanatage....

Regionalliga Süd:

Hoffenheim- Kassel: Hoffenheim -1.5 @ 1.88

Although coming of a loss and a draw after a streak of 13 unbeaten game (with 11 wins) Hoffenheim is still not in a crisis. They are clearly the best team in the league together with Wehen and way above all other teams. The loss came at league leader Wehen, so it can happen. Also both games where away. today s home game is a completely different situation. Because of all the talking about "they have only 6 points left of the advanatge to the next team", i expect them to be very focused and go for a solid win to shut up the critics. That should be possible against Kassel, which shows no special form and is somewhere in the mids of the table.

Ahlen- Wehen: Wehen pk @1.95

Wehen is the top team in the league. They are playing a Ahlen team which is in a crisis right now and it is publically known that it will be probably the last game for their coach before he gets fired. That s usually a good excuse for players not to show up.
That combined with Wehen the better team anyway and a great line we are getting, Wehen is a must play.

Karlsruhe- Stuttgart Kickers: Stuttgart pk,-0.5 @ 1.96

This is mainly a play on Stuttgart as they ar hot right now and they are the only team chasing Hoffenheim for promotion spot (at least froma distance). Karsruhe is nothing special and got some injury problems today.

Bundesliga to come in next 30-40 min.

Tough week in Bundesliga. Not much value

München- Gladbach: under 3 @ 1.78

It s a mismatch, but 1.75 is too much on the side. the under is a much better play. Gladbach is helpless in away games, so it will tough for them to score. München, although qualified for next round, has the Inter game for top spot in CL-groupe coming up. They will control thegame once in the lead, but will not put any efford in blowing out Gladbach.

Bochum - Hamburg: Over 2.5 @ 1.95

Bochum is an over team the last 3 weeks and wh should it change today. The match vs. Hamburg is very important for both in fight against relegation. Both teams need a win. Bochum playing at home will go for it 90 min from all i can read this week and Hamburg also will go for the win and not staying back on defense. Although Hamburg s offense is not very strong right now, the Bochum defense should be weak enough to have an entertaining game with at least 3 goals.

Bielefeld- Leverkusen: over 2.5,3 @1.93

Bielefeld is an over team. They are able to score, especially at home, while also not too solid on defense. Leverkusen in need for points is coming off better league results lately, but a dissapointing loss in uefa-cup during the week. still no reason for them to be afraid at Bielefeld. i expect both teams to score and therefore good chances for the over.

I am still thinking about the Bremen-Berlin match..key factor is the "match of the year" for Bremen at Barca on saturday. I am not sure how focused they really are on today s game although it is important too. Berlin is very unpredictable for me. they could get points or even a win here if they are off to a good start, but can very well fell apart if conceiding early.

Sunday

2. Bundesliga

Unterhaching- München: Under 2,2.5 @ 1.90

It s a big derby as both teams are from Munich. Therefore the side is very difficult to predict. ALthough on paper 1860 München is the better team this year Unterhaching came up always on top lately in this derby. Especially when played at Unterhaching.
But the under looks really good. Unterhaching got a solid defense and has big trouble scoring. Only 1 of 7 home games has seen 3 goals. All others went under this number. (BTW also just one of 7 away games went over 2 goals).
München is not that low scoring anymore as 4 of last 6 reached 3 goals (before that only 1 game of 8), but to play in this derby atmosphere will bring a tight game and with Unterhaching involved i dont expect a 2-2 type game. München away should help to keep it under.

Jena- Burghausen: Jena pk,-0.5 @ 1.90

Jena is unbeaten in last 3 home games. Although coming of a destroying 0-4 away loss at Karlsruhe they seem to be able to bea teams at the same level, especially at home. Burghausen fits into that as they are also playing against relegation this year.

One more play on 1.Bundesliga to come later

hi chriscol....what do you think about Offenbach-Ausburg?

Actually a tough game. I am leaning toward Offenbach. They are coming of a surprising away win at Freiburg and played well lately at home. They played all top team (Kaisersl., Duisburg, Karslruhe), close at home, although just coming up with one point and lost NO game vs. teams at the similar level (2 wins,2 draws).
Augsburg is coming of a surprising away draw at Kaiserslautern. Besides that they are not particulat strong away, but keep games close as they either play to a draw or a 1 goal loss so far this season.
So i would say leaning towards home win, but better chances with a draw.

the Jena play is in big trouble: 0-1 behind and both strikers had to leave the pitch with major injuries. Not good for a team that has problems scoring anyway. :ohno:

not a good start in the sunday. both picks were heavy loosers.

1. Bundesliga

Nürnberg- Schalke: Schalke pk @ 1.83 and over 2.5 @2.0 !! 2 units!!

Schalke is on a run at the moment. they are a dangerous away team and have a good history playing at Nürnberg. Nürnberg is a strange team this year. they play a lot of draws and are tough to predict, but the typical team that Schalke likes to play, as they will try to go for it at home which opens up space for Schalke.
I didnt even consider playing the over here, before i looked at the recent results and found an amazing stat. In Nürnberg's last 11 games there was at least one goal by Nürnberg and one goal against them...there is NO Zero in agame Nürnberg is involved since end of August !!!
Also Schalke went over 2.5 goals in 8 of last 9 matches.
So i expect both teams to score and Schalke to win..easy as that

How you like Frankfurt on the road today at + .25 ? I'm thinking a 1-1 draw is highly likely.

i dont like them. leaning towards aachen or over. Frankfurt is struggeling at the moment and is coming off a tough uefa-match on thursday, in which they got a key-injury to Amanatidis. They have also the important Uefa-match vs. Newcastle coming up.
Aachen although winless in last 8 is capable to score and beat them at home in a "night-game" , which is always special at Aachen.
But you are right a draw is likely, which a tendency to Aachen IMO
